As a service provider, there will be times that the cost of your services exceeds the customer’s NTE amount. In order to successfully invoice for this work, you will first need to request that the customer raise the current work order NTE. To do so, you will need to create a Proposal.
The following outlines how to create a proposal in the Ecotrak Mobile App.
How to Create a Proposal for a Work Order
- Step 1: Navigate to the Work Order Module within the Ecotrak Mobile App.
- Step 2: Locate the work order that you wish to create a proposal for and open up the Work Order Details by tapping on the work order information.
- Step 3: Use the 'Create a Proposal' button located on the bottom of the screen to create a new proposal.
- Step 4: Fill out the Proposal information, requesting the desired amount for the quoted work, and click Submit.
NOTE: Once the Proposal has been submitted, it will be sent out to your customer for approval. Upon approval, the NTE will be raised.
